Race Report:
Excuses:
- I ran a marathon a week ago
- I did speedwork on Tuesday
- I lifted legs on Tuesday
- I ran a hard 15 miles Wednesday morning (then an easy 5 in the evening)
- My shoelace came untied a mile into the race --- not a problem on the uphills, but on the downhills, it whipped my other leg so badly that two days later, I still have marks on my leg
- By the finish line, the nearest competition was over three and a half minutes back, so I had no one to push me
On a reasonable day, I should be able to go at least a minute faster on this course.
