First time doing a race in the RAIN |
Race Report:
The triathlon consisted of a 1/4 swim, 2 mile run, 16 mile bike & 2 mile run. It was drizzling during the first run, but down pouring during the bike. I average about 8:30 pace on the run and over 21 mph on the bike. I felt as if I were passing everyone on the almost perfectly flat course. When I got back for T2, there were no more than 10 bikes on the rack. But On the last run I gave it all back, because 36 people managed to finish before me. I guess I do not need more proof that I need more work on my run.
Anyway, great race, Ocean City NJ is a great town to visit with the family. My family had a blast.
