Race Report:
Nice race course along James River. Starts in Maymont, technical in spots climbing and descending riverbank, heads over to Belle Isle, across Lee's Revenge, and then a long mile 11 along Hollywood Cemetary that isn't inspiring.
Was running great until mile 6, when my stomach began to fell uneasy. Began to speed up hoping to find a place to go to the bathroom as the race reached "civilization." Was quite disappointed and race volunteers were clueless to help me. The first six miles had plenty of place to "hide." The last seven did not. Positive disposition disappears as does race pace. Struggle for last few miles with a mediocre final time.
