Long story short:
I hadn't trained much for this. 3 10-mile runs over the past few months.
I tried to go out hard, and keep up with Will Waskes. 6:15ish first mile killed me.
Took everything I had to run a 7-minute mile towards the finish.
Fought through it. Did the best I could given my goal of seeing if I could hold a fast pace. I probably should have changed the goal given minimal training, but so be it.
