What I do to pay the bills: Work from home for a firm that models Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Terrorism, etc. for insurance companies.
Who defends the ranch when I'm out training: Karen - wonderful wife since 1995!
Short term triathlon goals: Top 10 in a competitive International-distance race
Long term triathlon goals: Place top 3 in age group
Fantasy triathlon goals: Qualify for Hawaii rather than getting in via lottery
Three favorite albums: Couldn't say.
Favorite book: Atlas Shrugged or The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.
Favorite movie: The Matrix. Are we all just a butterfly's (or computer's)dream?
Chocolate: Oh yeah!
Garlic: The more, the better!
Blue Cheese: Especially Stilton!
For breakfast, I usually have: Large bowl of cereal. Cheerios, Smart Start, Raisin Bran, Optimum Power, etc.
After a long day of training, my favorite meal is: Homemade chicken cutlets, homemade pasta sauce over gemelli pasta.
My best triathlon advice is: Have fun. Dream about transitions.
My best non-triathlon advice is: Have fun. Kiss your spouse.
What was I thinking when I signed up for my first race: Completely blank. Just went in to have fun and used it as an excuse to ramp up my workouts. Then I got hooked!
Everything I need to know I learned from: My parents
My deepest, darkest secret is: I know what color periwinkle is.
