Gorgeous day with great weather, albeit slightly warm on the run.

Point to point swim in the ocean was great! Came out with two BB lifeguards which made me feel confident in my swim.

Windy bike! Never got in a great rhythm, but pushed it hard. Was able to hold off several behind me.

Great transitions.

Felt a bit heavy-legged starting the run, but pushed as best as I could. A couple of guys ran with me and then pulled away as we approached the turn-around in Fenwick. I let them go because I couldn't keep that pace for another 3 miles...but kept them in sight. With a bit over a mile to go, I picked up the pace little by little until I passed them with about a 1/2 to 1/4 mile to go. I left everything out there and finished with nothing left in the tank.

I sat down with a bottle of water and rested and then went to cheer in Karen.
