Impressions:
There were about 18000 people. I've never seen so many people (my first big race).
I spent most of my time to zig zag, accelerate and slow down trying to make my way for the first 4 miles.
Then I controlled around 8:00 pace until the 7th mile (I felt good and I wanted to keep some energy)
I accelarated for the last 3 miles, going faster each mile:
8th mile: 7:37
9th mile: 7:23
10th mile: 6:59
Average Pace for the race: 7:48.
I will definitely do it again.
Next time I will be better prepared and I will try to be a little bit more in front so i don't spend half the race zig zagging :o)
