Race Report:
I only competed in the weight pentathlon, but did not do any sprinting or running. In the past at this meet (which is the local USA Track & Field Potomac Valley Association championship), I have also run the 100 meters, 400 meters, 5,000 meters and have done the 10,000 meter racewalk (MR, W40-44).
Well, I'd say I stunk pretty thoroughly in weight pentathlon. I hope I did a tad better in points than last year, though.
However, my discus throw was a personal best for me in a meet by over a meter, so I am going to focus on that very positive aspect and be glad for that and try to work with it.
There aren't a lot of women who do the weight pentathlon (the five events are: shotput/hammer throw/weight throw/discus/javelin), as you can probably guess from the fact there were only two of us in this meet.
