Race Report:
...but I couldn't get warm and I couldn't get it going. Also, I was not creative enough to wear a costume and I'm disappointed with myself for that lapse of creativity! Sometimes, I think it's a hoot to be silly when running with hundreds of people. And there were some funny costumes from runners who were thinking creatively - e.g. there was a woman dressed as Paris Hilton, jail edition (she had an orange prison type outfit on), carrying a stuffed chihuaha - both she and the stuffed chihuaha were wearing pearls. That made me laugh!!! Oh, and I started behind a guy dressed like a giant banana. That was surreal. I wasn't sure how that banana costume would do in the wind, but he seemed to be running along just fine!!!
