Race Report:
The Cape Henry Duathlon, 10-Miler, and 5K were cancelled this a.m. There was one nasty, nasty looking storm cloud hanging over the start. The start time was delayed, pending a decision as to safety. The decision was to hang it up this year, due to the area being under a t-storm [and I think they said a tornado] watch, too. Beer, soup, sandwiches were served in the bowling alley. The sun came out an hour or so later. My friend and I who had come down for the race ran on the boardwalk. I don't blame the race director for cancelling; it was a tough call. I did the 10 Miler in 2006; I know that the 10-Miler was a nice course and I'd recommend it.
