Short Version

I put in a solid effort with no mistakes to swim a 19:20, a 41-second PR. Pacing was just about right, didn't screw any turns up as badly as last year, but I haven't seen the splits yet.
The GMU facility is nice, with a warm-up pool and a split configuration, allowing the ladies to race on one side of the pool and the men on the other side. But the chemicals are terrible, and I'm not sure if I'd want to swim another 1650 in this pool.
