Most years, I run Boston for the experience. That is, I'm more interested in enjoying the day than running a fast time. This year was no exception. In fact, I specifically wanted to run a slow time. I have been focusing on training for a race that is three weeks after Boston, and I didn't want to overextend myself. To keep myself honest, I brought a camera. I planned to capture the day on film... Er, well, on a CF card, that is. I took some pictures while running and holding the camera above my head. For others, I stopped and jumped off the course to find just the right spot. In any case, I had a great time, and I took a lot of pictures. If you are minimally curious, you can click on the thumbnails. If you want the whole story, click on the leftmost picture of the very top row of thumbnails. That should take you to packet pick-up. From there, you can get the full Boston experience (without all that nasty sweating) by clicking on "next" above the main photo. Enjoy!
