I'm a native Washingtonian (ok - maybe not anymore since I live in Arlington -- the "burbs" -- now) but yes I did grow up within the city limits. I love meeting new people, being active, outside and trying different things which probably is part of the reason I began exploring the world of triathlon in 2006. I've been running marathons since 1996 and started doing some trail races last year. I have a busy hectic life and my training regime is -- shall we say -- somewhat unconventional. |
