What I do to pay the bills: Web Programming
Who defends the ranch when I'm out training: My 2 cats. Lick-o-mania to all who enter.
Short term triathlon goals: Have fun and race at 100% every time I suit up.
Long term triathlon goals: I just want to reach my potential....whatever that might be.
Fantasy triathlon goals: Run a 3:30 IM distance marathon.
Three favorite albums: I could't even tell you the last time I bought an album.
Favorite book: David Glover's autobiography....most recently titled: Sub 9 and Full time.
Favorite movie: Lord of the Rings.
Chocolate: decent
Garlic: a little, but only on the wrists and under the arms.
Blue Cheese: on occasion
For breakfast, I usually have: Oatmeal.
After a long day of training, my favorite meal is: Usually Outback.
My best triathlon advice is: Never put anything but your best effort into any race you do, you have to live with the result for rest of your life.
My best non-triathlon advice is: Try doing things that are out of the ordinary.
What was I thinking when I signed up for my first race: I was thinking that I wanted to pummel my roommates. I got into it by running the Army 10 miler the year before and also enjoying my new mountain bike. I jumped at the chance when a friend suggested it.
Everything I need to know I learned from: My parents.
My deepest, darkest secret is: In college, I once drank 3 gallons of water in 15 minutes because someone told me the ionic charge between the Hydrogen and Oxygen in water would give me a buzz if I drank enough. I booted upon finishing the last half gallon. No buzz was had, except the endorphin rush after I blew chucks all over the bathroon. What was I thinking?
