About Me: I started with my first sprint distance in 1995 and worked my way up to Ironman-distance at Canada in 1997. I now have 22 Ironman races under my belt. I keep telling myself that I'll take a year off from the Ironman-distance, but I just keep signing up for more...and, perhaps, more disturbing I keep thinking I'm going to faster even though I'm getting older.... Is this a healthy addiction...?
What I do to pay the bills: Self-employed as triathlon coach and race director...living the good life!
Who defends the ranch when I'm out training: Princess (my Dalmatian)
Short term triathlon goals: Vineman course record (8:50)
Long term triathlon goals: Win a large IM race, sub 8:30 Ironman finish time
Fantasy triathlon goals: Be paid a lot of money to be a triathlete
Favorite book: Lord of the Rings trilogy

Chocolate: Only dark chocolate
My best triathlon advice is: Set the bar very high for everything. The worst that can happen is that you fall short of something that you can't possibly do...the best...who knows, you might even surprise yourself... :)
My best non-triathlon advice is: Don't lick the cheese grater - I learned this from one of my dogs.
